I am a little bit behind in my book reviews. So based on that fact, I am going to be doing one review for 4 books today.
And those 4 books are the first parts of the Pretty Little Liars series.
I know that there are a lot of you ladies out there that are hooked on the TV. Me too. And since the suspense of finding out who A is was killing me, I decided to read the books to get more clues (even though I think that the books and the show are going to have different twists and whatnot).
Anyways, back to the review.
I really enjoyed the books. I figured that since I've already seen all of the episodes of the show thus far, the books wouldn't be anything new. I was wrong. The books have the same basic happenings, but things are definitely different. People die who don't die in the show. People date who don't (or haven't yet, at least) in the show. It was a nice surprise.
Overall, these books were an easy read, entertaining, and suspenseful.
I would give them 4 out of 5 stars. Good books, but they definitely don't have all the substance that some of the other books I've read have had.

I've never watched an episode, but I have a feeling I'd love Pretty Little Liars, both the show and the books. Although at this point I think it might be easier to pick up the books to start at the beginning.
I have major issues with ABC Family (even though I watch a couple shows on it), so I never wanted to watch PLL...but my SIL told me that they were based off of a book series and that had me sold. She said the books were much better than the show, so I'm definitely gonna give them a chance :)
I've never watched the show, but it does sound entertaining!
